The Chase Alexander Barr Scholarship is a privately funded scholarship established in 2023 as a memorial tribute to Chase Alexander Barr. Applicants must be an African American male high school senior enrolled at Griffin High School who desires to pursue a college degree.
Scholarship Criteria & Requirements:
● High School Senior
● Completed Application
● 3.0 GPA (official transcript required)
● Minimum of 20 Community Service Hours
●(1) Letter of Recommendation (Academic)*
●(2) Letters of Recommendation (Character)*
● Essay - 'Why I Want to attend college.'
